Privacy Policy
Last updated October 13, 2026
I respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal information I collect, why, and your rights under British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada’s PIPEDA.
1. What I collect
- Contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
- Booking details: the sessions you book, dates, times and payments.
- What you share with me: information you choose to share before or during sessions, including health information relevant to breathwork safety.
- Messages: emails and WhatsApp messages you send me.
This website does not use advertising trackers or sell any data.
2. Why I collect it
- To book, confirm and remind you about sessions.
- To keep you safe during breathwork.
- To support you between sessions, if you ask me to.
- To keep the records the law requires, such as tax records.
I only use your information for these purposes, unless you agree to something else.
3. Your consent
By booking or contacting me, you consent to the use of your information as described here. You can withdraw your consent at any time. This may mean I can no longer offer you sessions.
4. Who I share it with
I never sell or rent your information. I only share it with services I need to run my practice:
- Fairbooked: my booking system, which stores your booking and contact details.
- WhatsApp: if you choose to message me there.
- Zoom or a similar video tool: for online sessions.
These providers may store data outside British Columbia, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.
5. How I protect it
I keep notes private and secure, limit access to myself, and use reputable providers with appropriate security.
6. How long I keep it
I keep session notes and booking records for as long as we work together, and then for up to 2 years, unless the law requires longer. After that, I delete or destroy them securely.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, subject to legal limits. Email me and I will reply within 30 days.
If you have a concern I cannot resolve, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC.
8. Changes
I may update this policy. The latest version will always be on this page.
